Don’t Want to Run a Blog? Try Microblogging.
More than 30 million people are doing it, and more are doing it everyday. Microblogging, that is, on Tumblr – a combination of a short-form blog + social media application that makes it fun and easy to post and share your ideas, inspiring or funny images, and especially, link up with other Tumblr bloggers…and share their content! In fact, it’s so easy and ideal for sharing (“reblogging”), that it’s become more popular than WordPress (what we use for MidChix.com), another hugely popular and feature-rich blogging platform. Pinterest.com, a fun and addictive website I wrote about previously, capitalizes on the whole Tumblr reblogging trend.
Tumblr is relatively new – created in 2007 – but has caught on rapidly as an ideal form of blogging simply because of its ease of use and social media aspect. It’s currently considered the fastest-growing blogging/social media application available.

Microsoft Office Tabs
Do you use Microsoft Office and occasionally open multiple documents at the same time? Then hate having to switch back and forth between screen views just to compare the different documents? Office Tabs is a free extension that creates tabs for each of your Microsoft Office documents, making them easily accessible in just one window. It’s compatible with 2003, 2007 and 2010 versions.
