I’ve always liked the name Nick.   In fact, while I was pregnant with my fourth child, I decided that would be the name, whether boy or girl.  When Nicole Simpson was murdered just weeks before my Nicole was born, that put a damper on my decision, but didn’t change it. Little did I know that 17 years later I’d be learning what happened to that Nicole wasn’t at all unusual.
