Last Friday I did something I never would have had the guts to do a year ago.  I walked right up to my hero, Jeannie Ritter, and introduced myself.  We had just arrived, late as usual, to the Kempe Takes Paris event downtown.  I had no idea that Jeannie was about to receive a Community Award, but just reacted impulsively when I recognized her as she headed towards the dining room.
